To the family of Art Schmidt,
A few years ago I lived at Gramercy Park where Art was a close neighbor, we were able to keep his extra keys and helped each other when possible, Art was a wonderful person who always cared for others, he seemed to enjoy showing his apt. when open houses were held, many hats and memorabilia were part of his home. At one time I knew his daughter as she came to visit him regularly. we moved to Madonna Towers, as my husband suffered from Parkinson's, He had moved to Waters and kept in touch on occasion, I later learned He had moved from there, My husband passed away in 2018, Easter Sunday,
I wish to extend my sympathy to His family in their loss of a fine Father, grandfather and Uncle , May his soul rest in peace. My Love and Prayers, Sincerely, Helen Mueller

We are so sad to hear of Art's death. He was a fun guy to be around. I loved singing with Art, here, at Samaritan. He sang from his bed while I played piano outside his room on Tuesday afternoon of last week. We extend our sincerest sympathies.... Allison and the Life Enrichment Department at Sam Beth
So sorry to hear of Uncle Art's passing! Hugs to the family!
