Together with their children, they also operated a successful produce business. Sandy also played a vital role in Doug Dose Reality and managed several rental properties in Rochester, MN. Sandy was a devoted mother and wife who loved her family. She felt most at home when cooking or baking in the kitchen or caring for the flowers and birds in her yard. She enjoyed exploring the outdoors and had fond memories of visiting Forestville State Park with her family growing up. She made it a priority to offer the same experiences she had as a child to her children and grandchildren. She was a history buff who loved science fiction and was often found with a book in her hand. Sandy was a spiritual woman who was involved in many activities in her St. Francis of Assisi Church community. I always loved seeing Mrs. Dose when we would pick up our Christmas tree around Thanksgiving time. She would help us pick out the prettiest wreath. When my siblings and I were younger, she liked to give us coloring books, and we LOVED them. Even though I did not know her well, I will miss her. My thoughts are with her family.
You can tell a lot about a mom by meeting her children. Sandy raised four incredible kids who have been incredible gift to the larger community.
I am so sorry for your loss and am inspired by your mom's legacy.
