My father-in-law was one of the kindest and most compassionate people, that I have ever known. I am so grateful that I had almost 30 years knowing him. He was a devoted husband and dad. He was so humble and a man of few words, but his contributions to those around him, were incredible. I will personally miss his stories, especially when he talked about serving our country, and the "Little Brown Church" that he and Marianne married in Nashua, Iowa. Even though he is gone, I know he is at peace and reunited with his family. He will be missed by all of us. You will always be in my heart, Nick. God bless you.
