K KAREN PRIEBE on Aug 23, 2021

Dear Family of the amazing Mrs. Butterbaugh.
This incredible lady surely had no idea the impact she had on, not only the young lives she influenced with her innumerable kindnesses, but on countless parents also. If so for us then surely others.
My son Casey was a child under her care some forty plus years ago. He adored her and she loved him back. When he aged out of the program and went on to kindergarten she actually asked (half-kiddingly she said) could we hold him another year as he had become her 'right hand man" with scared or sad children. He went on to grow into a kind-hearted man due in part to her influence. He is always one to notice another's distress or sadness. In observing her work in the classroom I became interested in the same kind of work. We left MN and moved away but I went on to work with the Head Start Program in our area. We have mentioned her name often in many reminiscences of the period in our lives.
I want you to know HER LIFE made a difference .
Thank you for sharing her.

Dear Cathy, brothers and Denny,
Words are a futile attempt to adequately express our sorrow at hearing of the loss of your precious Gloria. She was so very gentle and kind. Over the years we corresponded from afar and she would share her love for flowers and encourage me with her faith. No one can really understand how deeply your loss is felt. May God's promise of eternal life bring you comfort.
In His grip,
Barbara and Thom Isch
