I am so sad to learn of Roxi’s passing. She was a dear friend. I served in the Navy in Hawaii with her. She dog sat for my then husband and I and the day we got home from our trip she was discharged and left for home to Minnesota. My daughters and I got to visit with her and her son Chad one summer. She made spaghetti pie for us and it was the best. She took my place to go see Elvis in Hawaii with my then husband. I’m sure
she will be missed and was loved by many.

I took two Java classes from Roxi at RCTC - she was a fantastic and enthusiastic teacher!

Roxi Bains was one of my first instructors in Computer Science at RCTC. She was a wonderful educator, and I felt very fortunate to be in her class. She knew both her subject matter and how to teach it, plus she always came prepared to teach. She was also warm and kind.
May all of you who mourn her passing be blessed by knowing how much she was appreciated. My sympathy goes out to you.

Sending our sincerest sympathy to Mat and Michelle, Lia, Chad and family. My favorite memory of Roxi, was when Michelle and Mat hosted a get together for mothers day, at their house. Roxi joined in on a game of bean bag and kicked everyone's b....., despite her Parkinsons. The sons should hang their head in shame!
