I knew Pat from junior and senior high. Still makes me laugh when I think of him saying that double session football practices were so brutal that he was willing to sell his soul to the devil for a Dixie cup of water.

I last saw Pat in high school. What a wonderful, sharp sense of humor he had. I don’t remember how we most recently connected on Facebook, but we had a good talk on the phone. I had moved back to MN after living in AZ for 34 years, and he was wintering in the Phx area. It doesn’t surprise me that he did well in life. He was intelligent.

My condolences to his wife, kids, and family. Pat was a good man.

Patrick was a man that was present for others. As I volunteer at our shared waterfall entry into Stonehedge; he would ALWAYS take time to stop and encourage me and my endeavors. Also, we received his generous support for the 'falls and his favorite flower there...the windflower, the Anemone. He wanted some for his "bride"....still possible! As I return to "the hill"....I will miss his smile and love of life. A life well-lived by a lovely human. Amen Patrick! Ride on in that gorgeous car with your big delish smile!!

Uncle Pat had the biggest heart I've ever known, and never knew a stranger. He was the kind of person who would strike up conversation with anyone, and was always actively engaged and made you feel important while he was with you. He was hilarious, quick witted, and known to rock a santa costume during the holidays- some amazing photos have been shared over the years. He loved his family so much, and we all loved him just as much. I was lucky to have him as an uncle and I will miss him and his laughter.

We love you, Pat!

Brenda, Amanda, Brittany and Christina - we love you. our hearts are breaking with yours.

Pat was one of my favorite people. He had the best sense of humor and a busy, critical mind. He was totally devoted to his family, which extended to us nieces and nephews - such a blessing for us. He was a faithful man, both to God and family. I will miss our conversations, his laughter, and his love. Thank you, God, for Pat - please take good care of him.

Pat and I had a business relationship, that grew beyond that. I appreciated his trust in me, as I had the honor to take care of his vehicle-appearance needs, yet the greatest honor was the friendship that developed over the years. I will miss him dearly! Prayers go out to Brenda and the rest of the family. I know he loves you all, deeply!

My husband and I have known Pat since 2003 when we built our new home directly across the street in front of his home in Rochester. He was a good man and will always remember him and how he loves my pot of Asian noodle dish pho. Rest In Peace Pat!

My father was one of a kind. A beautiful person. He loved so deeply. He always asked how I slept, if I got home safely ect. He was a selfless man. There are truly no words to express my love and respect for him. Until we meet again daddy… I love you more than anything.

There was only one Pat...he was generous, kind, funny, hard working and most of all caring. I was honored to work for him and I always admired the little things he did to improve the lives of the seniors we cared for. He and Brenda became our friends and his death will leave a hole in our hearts. We will miss him but are so grateful for the years we had with him.
