Patricia Ann Martinson, 55, of Byron, Minnesota died Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at her home in Byron.

Patricia was born April 23, 1967 to Dale and Anna (Smith) Eckert. She grew up in Rochester and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1985. Pat started working at Mayo Clinic in 1989 and spent most of her career in the department of Hematology and Clinical Research where she was currently employed. Pat married David Martinson in 1988. The couple lived in Rochester and later divorced.

Pat enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was the best cheer mom and grandma there ever was.

Pat is survived by her parents Dale and Anna Eckert; her children Amanda Martinson, Heather Martinson and Brittany (Tim) Coshenet; her sisters Peggy (Galen) Morris and Penny (Chad) McCarty; and 7 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home (5421 Royal PL NW, Rochester, MN). Visitation will be on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 4 - 7 PM as well as one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
