James (Jamie) Robert Breidel Jr., 59, of Rochester, MN passed away unexpectedly in his home on Saturday, April 1, 2023.
Jamie was born to Ione Breidel (Crary) and James Robert Breidel Sr. on August 15, 1963 in Rochester, MN where he grew up. He graduated from Mayo High School in 1981. After graduation he enlisted in the Army and served 4 years before being honorably discharged. After the Army, Jamie went to Mesa State College in Grand Junction, CO where he was featured in the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges. He has a BS in Physics, a Master's in Business, was a Presidential Scholar 2 times, on the Dean's list 8 times, a Sigma Pi Sigma National Honor Society (Physics) and a Cum Laude graduate and took a course while at Mesa State studying the Ozone at NASA.
On August 8, 1992 Jamie married Rebecca and took on the role of Dad to his Daughters, Michele, and Jessica and in 2007 his Granddaughter Madison as well. Anyone who knew him knew how much pride, love and loyalty he had for his family and friends.
Jamie was just an overall incredible, fun, sarcastic man from his desire to peruse his education, his laugh, his openness and willingness to help others, his love of dogs, juggling and fishing, his love of music and traveling, especially Vegas and so much more. He will greatly be missed by many, but definitely never forgotten.
Jamie is survived by his wife Becky, his daughters, Michele Branch-Penrose (Jeremy), Jessica Breidel, his grandchildren Jamie, Madison, Jade, Tre'Jaron, Aidan, Payton and his brother Larry Fuller (Colorado)
Jamie was preceded in death by his mother Ione Breidel (Crary), his father James Robert Breidel Sr., his sisters Linda Pike and Cindy Kramptiz, and grandson Jordyn Breidel
There will be a celebration for Jamie's life held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Charlie's Eatery and Pub (in the bingo hall), 1654 Hwy 52 Rochester, MN 55901 from 3-7pm.
