Agnes Kay Dorn, age 85, of Rochester, MN died on April 7, 2023 at Edenbrook in Rochester, MN.
Agnes was born on July 28, 1937 to Earl and Ada (Snyder) Krause in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Agnes was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. For work, Agnes wrote diabetic menus at the old Methodist Hospital. She also did freelance writing and was assistant at Co-Op Oil. She married Martin Dorn on September 8, 1959 in Mason City, IA.
She is survived by nieces Stephanie (Dale) Zwiefelhofer, Sherry Wallis and Mary Miller; nephew Scott Krause; great nieces and nephews Andria Nelson, Angeline Zwiefelhofer, Logan Wallis and Sawyer Krause; and special friends DeeDee L. and Steve R.
When she was able, she loved taking rides with her friend Steve and Buddy the dog. She also loved having Steve bring Cooper the dog to visit her at Homestead and Edenbrook.
Agnes is preceded in death by her husband Martin; parents; her brother Lynn "Butch" Krause and a brother in infancy.
A special thank you to the staff at Edenbrook and Moments Hospice for the care they provided.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church (222 6th Ave SW, Rochester). Visitation will be from 1:00 - 1:30pm. Inurnment will be at a later date.
