          2023 年 11 月 25 日星期六下午約七點半，我所深愛結縭已逾52年的妻子和兩個孩子的母親滿美，好像來不及說聲再見，就突然脫離塵寰，歸回天家，安息主懷，享年77歲。

 

         滿美出生於台灣屏東市，是教育家音樂家李志傳和聰慧善於理家的劉鸞盡心養育的 11 位兒女中最小的一個。她以優異的成績從台北第一女中第一名保送到國立台灣大學醫學院就讀，畢業時又是年青醫師輩中之佼佼者。她在夏威夷州檀香山的 Kuakini 醫療中心完成了實習，並在明尼蘇達州羅徹斯特的梅奧診所完成了診斷放射學住院醫師訓練和神經放射學專科培訓。

       

        她從台大理學院移到醫學院開始醫科訓練早期，透過在台北一位兩人都熟識又受他多方教導的資深教會牧者之媒介，我們雙方才正式交往，約五年後於1971年10月在夏威夷檀香山結婚。

 

        滿美熱心愛主，我們於1972年從夏威夷搬到明州羅徹斯特城梅奧醫學中心接受嚴格的住院醫師訓練。看到這個華人人數不多的小城鎮中，照樣有傳福音與培養基督徒成長的需要。兩人同心禱告之後，找到了一對在羅城已居住多年的愛主基督徒夫婦，就在他們家中開始了查經班。目的是與信徒們、聚集在一起敬拜和研讀神的話語，並且把全備的福音傳給慕道友。在接下來幾十年裡，主增加了他們的人數，最終該團體成為明州羅城華人教會。滿美忠心地與其他基督徒配搭帶領查經、學習和敬拜，並透過她的言語和生活幫助許多非基督徒歸向主。

 

        滿美把家庭放在第一位，犧牲了自己的醫療事業，全職撫養兒子和女兒。她有一顆寬大的心胸，將別人的需求放在自己的需求之上，這從她向當地社區和國際教會慷慨地投入金錢、時間和資源就證明了這一點。她也是一位忠實而勤奮的祈禱勇士，每天有清單為家人和朋友不懈地代求。

 

        生活上，她有自己的樂趣：就是，需要購買物品時，找到絕對最佳購物優惠 Best Discount Deal，並最大限度地發揮每張優惠券之潛力。她的理由是：我們的收入乃是上帝託付的，能省就省，不可浪費，要作忠心又良善的僕人。雖然生活節儉，平時卻樂於助人。她享受生活，笑起來溫暖人心。最重要的是，她愛她的家人，並且總是很快地透過言語和擁抱來表達她的愛。

 

        她身後留下了她的丈夫蘇文博 Wen-Po Daniel Su、兒子蘇晰明 Lowell Su、女兒 蘇雅寧 Anita Su和孫子 蘇博恩 Lincoln Su。葬禮將於 2023 年 12 月 2 日星期六下午 3 點鐘 在明州羅城 Ranfranz & Vine 殯儀館舉行，公眾探視時間為下午 2 點鐘。感恩追思禮拜預訂明年春暖初夏季節，才在明州羅城舉行。
